No worries. It is good to point out the rights thing like you said, which is my main reason behind my post. The other posts are just are point out that it is better to ask about ones photo to edit, instead of just doing it. Which is pointing out to that one user, who does not seem to have a clue really.

Ok we'll drop it but for future reference and I'm not trying to be a prick by the way but some people will seriously take you to court over a stupid little thing like that. The only time you set a license is if you want to share it, by default nobody can use your image without permission. I only got annoyed as you said that the edited version was better than the original I wouldn't have minded otherwise.
